v0.22.4

v0.22.4: The whole field

Gallery demos now play out on the full battlefield with each weapon's reach drawn on it, and Ion Volley shots actually catch what they curve toward.

Changed

  • Gallery demos show the whole battlefield. Every card's preview used to crop to a close-up of the action; now it frames the same 9:16 field you fight on, at the same scale. Altitude, reach and enemy size all read true: the supply wing flies its real crossing, the mine balloons drift in their real band, and a gnat is exactly as small as the one you'll be shooting at.
  • Weapon pages draw their reach. Each weapon demo marks its firing range on the field, and weapons with a dead zone, like the Flak Battery, mark that too. What a gun can and cannot cover is now something you see, not a number you compare.

Fixed

  • Ion Volley shots catch their targets. Blaster shots curving toward ionized enemies could settle into an endless circle around their mark, and losing the mark mid-curve flung them off the field on their old heading. The curve now tightens as the shot closes, so it connects, and a shot that loses its mark keeps flying the line it was on.
