Databank
A front door and a 3D chart
The command hub opens onto every room you have unlocked, with a hint on each that has something waiting, and Deep Survey shows the worlds your probes found as planets the camera can fly out to.
Orbit
- The chart in three dimensions. Deep Survey's flat plot is gone. Every charted world is a planet in space around home, placed farther out the harder it would be to take. Each looks like what it is: a garden world green under cloud, a colony with city lights on its night side, a foundry cracked with refinery glow under a smog ring, a fortress armored and ringed. No two look alike, and each keeps its look between visits.
- Go and look. Tap a world on the chart or its card and the camera glides out to it. Tap again, or use Whole chart, to pull back. Left alone, the view drifts slowly around the chart.
- The odds at a glance. Each world's name is colored by your fleet's chances against it, matching its card.
Interface
- Every room on the front page. Perks used to be the hub's only door. Arsenal, Programs, Orbital Command and Deep Survey now stand beside it as they unlock, each with a line on what it is for.
- Hints that mean something. A room wears a chip only when there is something to do behind it: a shop you can buy from now, a free bay, a probe in transit, worlds charted.
- The databank in one row. Record, Gallery, Archive, Patch Notes and Options sit together within reach.
- Sign-in says why. The guest sign-in sits under Play and explains that it keeps your save across devices.
- Balances in a popover. On a phone the header shows flux alone; tap it for exact flux and scrap and a count of what is in orbit. Wider screens still show both balances inline, and the same tap gives the exact figures.
- The wordmark no longer gets clipped on a phone.
