FLUX COMMAND
Databank

The sky fills

Drones descend at a steady pace and linger in the guns, the armored brick joins the early waves, elite waves field one giant brick, the swing between waves is softened, and a fresh save starts with 300 flux.

Enemies

  • Drones drift. The drone used to dive, slow at the sky line and fastest as it crossed the range ring. It now comes down at a near-constant pace, under half its old top speed even in the deep waves, and a wave 1 drone spends about seven seconds inside the starter cannon's reach instead of three. More of the wave is in the air at once, and you watch it come.
  • The brick. A new enemy from wave 5: an armored hauler that falls slower than a drone, never swerves, and takes a burst of fire to bring down. It hits the array harder when it lands.
  • A lower speed ceiling. Enemies still fly faster with depth, but top speed is now 120% of full pace (was 150%).

Waves

  • Elite waves bring a giant. Every fifth wave now fields one oversized brick with several times the hit points, alongside a smaller escort. The big one coming down slow is the wave.
  • Steadier pressure. Elite and boss waves used to swing the enemy count up and down by half from one wave to the next. The swings are smaller now, so the pressure climbs instead of sawing.

Economy

  • Opening requisition. A fresh save starts with 300 flux, enough for one Arsenal weapon, and a dispatch on the first visit says so. Spend it before the first run to shape your draft pool, or bank it.
